More teeth
This past week I have gotten TWO more teeth! One on the top and one on the bottom. That makes six! Mommy was wondering why i was so grouchy. I’ve been spending my time playing with the cats. Boba has learned to be more gentle and not scratch me anymore, and he follows me around everywhere and we play all the time. My favorite game I play with him is when I take a string and run and he chases me! It is so funny! He also loves to play peek-a-boo with me by hiding in the hole in the couch under the cushions, and then pop out and suprise me!
More and more everyday I try to learn to be independant. I HATE it when my diaper is changed! The other day, mommy tried to change my poopy diaper, and as she was taking it off i wiggled just right to distract her by getting poop on the floor. She cleaned me up, then, without a diaper, i ran away while she cleaned up the carpet and put away the dirty diaper. I decided I wasnt finished yet though, so i squatted down and did the dirty deed of doom! I went number one AND number two on the FLOOR! I thought it was so funny! Mommy didn’t so much. She grabbed me and put on a new diaper before i could wreak any more havoc, then went to cleaning up the mess. She didn’t look too happy after that. It was pretty stinky!
I am also learning to eat using a fork and spoon more. I am getting better every day, but I sometimes get impatient and scoop it up with my hands. It is alot quicker, but also messier. I am more active everyday, I love to RUN around alot, and just to make sure I haven’t forgotten old tricks, I crawl every once in a while. My dancing is improving too! I flap my arms and shake my hips, it is so much fun! I also play with refrigerator magnets (my little pony and the alphabet letters) and read lots of stories. I love being outside, but we dont have a very good grassy yard yet so I can only go outside and Grandma and Grandpa’s house. I love the fresh air and the grass and dirt and exploring all the new colorful things.
I understand English more and more, mommy and daddy can ask me to do things and I can do them, but I still have not talked yet. I communicate well by pointing, or bringing what I need (like an empty sippy cup to mommy when I am thirsty). I love the sound of my own voice though and quite often have a conversation with myself or the cats. One of these days I’ll decide to talk, then the world better watch out!
